Lifts take visitors to the main Public Gallery at Level 3.
All of the upper floors are cantilevered off the main 'H' frame structure of tapered columns. Two temporary exhibition Galleries are enclosed within the 'Sock', a suspended volume formed out of large black triangulated panels.
The smooth GRP cladding of the 'Lily Pad' soffits is picked up by the glossy white 'Loop' visitor benches. Flannery and de la Pole selected the furniture used throughout the project.
