Julian Flannery was project architect with Associated Architects throughout the design of this major, Lottery funded, refurbishment scheme. The Midlands largest theatre has a 1,900 seat auditorium and is home to the Birmingham Royal Ballet and Dance Xchange. The project included a two hundred seat studio theatre, dance studios, dressing rooms, foyers, a centre for dance injuries, and a new rear stage with get-in.
