Selfridges new department store opened to critical acclaim in 2003. Since then the curvaceous blue form clad in 15,000 discs has come to symbolise the regeneration of England's second city.
Future Systems invited Julian Flannery to take responsibility for delivering this landmark project.
After the successful completion of Selfridges Julian Flannery worked on several other projects at Future Systems, including the BBC Music Centre and Naples Undergound Station with the artist Anish Kapoor.
